Bobcat Blues Band are a three piece electric blues band based in and around California's Central Valley. They came together  in January of 2007, but have a wealth of experience playing blues and other musical forms.They played their first gig together in early February,and are looking forward to gigging throughout California and hopefully beyond. They incorporate electric blues and blues rock styles with acoustic blues and other bits and pieces. They play some classic blues, some more obscure blues, and a smattering of originals. Their style includes lots of improvisation, and Peter's guitar influences help insure that the band have a distinctive sound. A big shout out to everyone who has come out and seen us thus far! LATEST NEWS BYE BYE BOBBY..................... Some sad news to report.  Founding member Bob Bobcat Bartlett has left the band. Bob has done a lot for the Bobcats since we started and it will never be quite the same without him. On a personal note, I would just like to say that I owe him more than I could ever repay (and no, we are not talking money here). We have pledged to maintain our friendship, and I hope that one day Bob and I play together again. For a couple of days, it looked like the band had folded, but Phil and I are going to go on. We have five dates at Mamma's in Exeter during November, and we will be fulfilling those dates, and hoping to add to the datebook for December and beyond. Phil and I are looking for a new Bobcat, and will let you know when we have found the person we are looking for! Again, thanks for everything Bobby, and let's hope we do play together again sometime soon. It is, after all, the Bobcat way!
